Half a day in the studio with Megan

Megan came all the way from Birmingham to shoot with me in March 2024. I had just got back from a week shooting in Gran Canaria and was busy lining up a new job, but this shoot had been booked in ages ago and I was very much looking forward to it. I was in the same studio the month before with Cariad who it turns out is friends with Megan which was a nice coincidence. Megan arrived with a tiny backpack and a smile. She had squeezed in so many different outfits and we used them all on the day. Most of all she gave it her all, bringing a lot of emotion to the images that was infectious and just seemed to extend each session.

Megan studied photography at Uni and only discovered modelling afterward. So she is naturally very creative and has a lot to offer when it comes to being collaborative. Most importantly, we clicked early on and found that trust in each others abilities which made the shoot both fun, but also very productive.

Ultimately this is what I like most about photography, meeting new people and having a lot of fun capturing them as honestly as possible.
