About me

Hi there, I’m Sam

Photography is a passion of mine and was once a . I’ve worked with some amazing people both behind and in front of the camera in fashion, editorial, and advertising.

I was introduced to photography at an early age. My mother was a model, and my father was Terence Donovan’s producer. I left school knowing I would work in the same industry.

In those formative years, I learned the necessary technical skills, but perhaps more importantly, I discovered a passion for photographing people. I enjoy meeting new people, learning about them, and building a connection to capture them for who they are.

My favored genres are fashion photography, portrait photography, and more recently, art nude photography in wild landscapes. The latter has become a project that has taken me around the world, seeking out otherworldly locations that complement or juxtapose the beauty of the human form.

I have transferred my passion for traditional darkroom printing to printing my work on a large format Giclée printer, something that has inspired me to set up a . I firmly believe photographs should be freed from their digital counterparts and ideally framed. My walls are lined with photographs and books by other photographers who inspire me.
