Tell me more about your printing process

I firmly believe photos should be printed. I grew up in the darkroom printing my own photographs and have since moved on to use the modern Giclée printing process. The prints that I sell are of photographs taken on my photographic adventures around the word. I then edit and print them in my studio at home in England.

I print with my Epson SC P900 and follow an archival process using fine art paper and pigment ink.

The prices reflect the cost of materials for the print and a percentage of the cost to take it plus a small amount of profit (assuming I sell more than 10 prints per image).

For me photography is a passion, not a business, and I believe the prices reflect the quality of the work that you will receive. I hope you find something that you like and want on your wall.

Customer Feedback

Sam is a very talented photographer who unlocks a unique and raw insight into the people he captures. While composition may feel fleeting and whimsical, do not underestimate the finesse and consideration which has been invested into each shot. I am very happy with my limited print from a shoot with Nausicaa Yami in Lanzarote, along with the service received from enquirey to delivery.

Shipping

I ship using a tracked service with Royal Mail. For UK orders you should recieve your print in a matter of days after it has been shipped.

International orders do take longer as it depends on the local service and customs.

Returns

If the print has been damaged in transit I will happily send you another copy free of charge as long as you return the original one (I need to maintain an inventory of the count per image),

I’m afraid I don’t accept returns. If you later decide you don’t like the image, please contact me to talk this through as I am sure we can work something out.

Special requests

I am often asked if I can sell images that are not listed on my store. Please feel free to contact me to discuss a special request.

Please note, the images I use to present each product are made in photoshop and the lifestyle setting and frames are not to scale. The print will include a border to ensure the full frame of the photograph is included and allow a mount and frame to be added. If you would like an alternate size, please get in touch.

Print sizes I offer: A2 which is 42 cm by 59.4 cm, A3 which is 29.7 cm by 42 cm and A4 which is 21 cm by 29.7 cm.
