This photo wasn’t meant to happen. We’d gone to visit the salt pans as tourists, the plan to scout the location and enjoy the sunset. But as a photograher you know to never look a gift horse in the mouth. This shot was taken from a standstone ledge above the jagged salt pans in Malta below. I showed this image to Kate afterwards and we both knew we would be coming back the next morning.
