Kate. Composed, contained, content.
Have you ever looked at a hole in the wall and said “I bet I could fit in there!” You’d be forgiven for walking by. But those with creativity in their DNA will stop and give the idea some consideration. For Kate, it’s more metamorphic. We both saw the hole, a vase and dried flowers within. The spark was there, but I was sure it wouldn’t work, it was impossibly small. If there is an angelic way an art model says “hold my beer” Kate said it. Before I knew it she was a statue, poised amongst the sandstone.
But that wasn’t it, no sooner was Kate positioned inside this tiny box in the wall, she was then finding ways to be composed. Against all odds she was suddenly very elegant, framed amongst the sandstone of this ancient villa in Italy.
Printed in black and white on fine art paper using archival inks.
