My adventures with a camera at home and abroad
Photography has been a lifelong passion, influenced by a family background in the industry. My photographic career started in fashion, editorial, and advertising. A time that saw me working with some amazing people and where I learned that the art of taking a good photograph wasn’t the technical aspects of the equipment, but actually how you connected with your subject. Today, I enjoy revisiting that past life, meeting new and incredible people and capturing them for who they are.
More recently, I have been working on an art nude series that has seen me travel to some extraordinary and otherworldly locations to combine the beauty of nature with the human form. I firmly believe photos should be appreciated in printed form, and today I do this with my large format Giclée Printing , something that created enough interest to encourage me to set up a print shop. Travel Portfolio
I love to travel and always pack camera gear. I apply my people centric approach to photography whilst traveling and enjoy creating connections between people and their environment. Below are a few examples from some recent trips abroad.
Studio (and more) Work
I have always enjoyed taking photos in a studio environment. I like the technical aspects of it and enjoy being creative in a controlled space. I am fortunate to have my own dedicated studio at home and this is small collection of photos taken there, and on location and in other studios I use when I’m looking for something different.

Elemental Project
Elemental is the working title for my current project, a series of photographs taken in other worldly locations, combining the beauty of nature with the human form.
I have always enjoyed travelling, experiencing new cultures and admiring a planet that never ceases to surprise me. Most of all I relish working with people, especially those who share my passion for being creative. Somewhat ironically I struggle with traditional landscape photography alone, I have always needed to include a person in the frame to complete the image. Therefore, this project is a natural evolution, something that was always inside me, a need to combine the beauty of nature with the beauty of the human form. So far I have traveled to Utah, Malta, Gran Canaria, Death Valley, Lanzarote and Iceland seeking out alien looking landscapes to complement this project.

Award winning photography
My photographs have won a number of awards including a 1st place and gold award in the WPE International photographers in 2023 and 2024. As well as a 1st place in the 35Awards in 2024.

When I first picked up a camera, I thought the hardest part would be the technical side. It wasn’t. The real challenge was learning how to *see* people, not just photograph them.
This guide shares my approach to photographing people authentically, building trust, creating a safe space, and capturing genuine moments.
These thoughts come from my experience photographing a wide range of people, models, actors, celebrities, and just "normal" people alike.
I’ve also included a selection of photographs taken yesterday with Oliva Linz from Ukraine. It was her first day in the UK, and we were complete strangers, with only a handful of hours to get to know each other and be creative. Although we had chatted briefly before the shoot and agreed on the studio location, none of the images we made together were planned. Everything was created in the moment. The aim is to share my approach in context, alongside some recent images.
